PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA FLOWERS AT THE PEGGY PORSCHEN ACADEMY

The Peggy Porschen Academy Professional Diploma students have just completed their Flowers Module and here are the results!

The Sugar Floristry module of the Professional Diploma takes two weeks to complete which allows Peggy to guide each and every student through the art of working with flowers and cakes, both fresh and sugar.

Students learn how to make their own flower paste and to create a variety of different simple blooms including:

  • primrose
  • daisies
  • petunias
  • moulded rose buds

As well as wired blossoms including:

  • hydrangeas
  • stephanotis
  • filler flowers
  • paper whites
  • lilly of the valley
  • sweet peas
  • roses
  • peonies
  • anemones

Students were also taken to the Covent Garden Flower Market earlier in the week to gain inspiration for their own blooms and learnt how to work with fresh flowers.
